We usually avoid seeking out legal malpractice clients because (1) we value our ability to work closely with our clients’ other attorneys, and (2) we understand the serious consequences even an unwarranted malpractice claim can have for an attorney.
But from time to time, one of our colleagues will see a new client who has already been harmed by another attorney’s malpractice. In these cases, our colleagues may want to defend proper representation by ensuring that negligent attorneys take responsibility for their actions.
