WHEAT RIDGE, CO – A female driver sustained a face injury in a rollover crash Wednesday morning after running a red light and striking another motorist who was making a protected left turn.
This collision happened before 10 a.m. on a stretch of Kipling Street leading to the I-70 East ramp, Wheat Ridge Police reported.

Paramedics transported the causing driver to a hospital, where she is recovering. Officials have not provided an update on her current condition but confirmed her wounds were not critical.
Police did not say whether the woman was cited or charged for running a red light.
