WESTMINSTER, CO – A 46-year-old female pedestrian passed away, and a 52-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious wounds after they were struck by a hit-and-run driver Sunday.
This collision occurred around 8 p.m. in the 2800th block of West 72nd Avenue, and the driver, a 19-year-old man, has since been arrested by police, according to The Denver Post.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Luis Gerardo Reyes, a Westminster man.
Gerardo faces hit-and-run charges along with additional unspecified charges.
The Adams County Coroner has yet to release the woman’s name.
