LITTLETON, CO – A child was fatally stuck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle to Littleton Middle School on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by Denver 7, the victim was riding in the area of South Elati Street and West Arapahoe Drive shortly after 8 a.m. when he was hit by an unspecified vehicle.
Despite life-saving measures by first responders at the scene, the 7th grader was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver involved in the fatal crash remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No charges have been filed at this time; however, the investigation remains underway.
