GOLDEN, CO – Colorado State Patrol has released additional details concerning a major crash that took place near Golden on Wednesday afternoon.
According to KDVR, the incident occurred when a semi-truck hit another truck in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near CO-470. A third vehicle, a pickup truck, then careened into one of the tractor-trailers.
The pickup’s driver suffered serious injuries in the crash, but is expected to be OK. He was also cited in connection to the incident.
