NORTHEAST DENVER, CO – A train struck and killed a pedestrian along the tracks at Smith Road and Quebec Street Monday afternoon.
Denver Police first announced this wreck after 4:15 p.m. After arriving, first responders and crews shut down the northbound Quebec Street and Smith Road connector to allow for routine scene clearance and investigation.

At this time, officers have not stated the events that led to this collision and have not released the victim’s name.
