DENVER, CO – A pedestrian’s life was claimed after getting hit by a Light Rail train on the 600 block of Mariposa Street Thursday, Denver Police reported.
Police reported this incident at approximately 7:18 p.m. and confirmed that the pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. They shut down the area temporarily and advised motorists to avoid the area as they worked to clear the scene and gather more information about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
