THORNTON, CO – A Subaru sedan driver was speeding when they rear-ended a Ford SUV and a Chrysler van, leading the SUV to catch on fire and claiming the lives of two adults and two children.
This collision happened before 7:45 p.m. last Saturday, Oct. 26th at the junction of Thornton Parkway and Washington Street, according to Thornton police.
Police said the two adults and kids were the Ford occupants and revealed that an ambulance rushed the Subaru driver to a hospital for serious wounds.
Officers have not provided an update on the Subaru’s current physical condition.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office will be the one to disclose the names of the victims.
