DENVER, CO – A rollover crash in the Arvada area claimed the life of one person and left five others injured early Saturday.
According to CBS News, the vehicle overturned just before 12:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near the I-76 interchange.
All five passengers were ejected as a result of the crash. One of the victims, a 16-year-old girl, suffered fatal injuries.
The four remining victims were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Investigators believe the unidentified driver lost control while trying to merge at the last minute, causing the vehicle to overturn. It is unclear if the driver will face any charges or citations at this time.
