DENVER, CO – A pickup truck driver lost control of their vehicle, leading them to slam into a fence off I-25, resulting in serious delays in the area Tuesday.
This collision was reported five minutes before 7 a.m. Denver 7 Traffic noted that an officer was working to render aid. Due to the serious nature of this collision, delays continued to pile up on I-25. At the time of reporting, drivers were asked to use southbound I-25 in order to get to westbound I-70.
That is a pickup that is no longer on the roadway. It went down the hill and into a fence. The officer on scene is off to the right in the grass. Even though both lanes are open, traffic is solid back to I-25. use SB 25 to WB 70. pic.twitter.com/YrYfHc2LXI
It is not immediately clear what caused the driver to leave the road. In addition, first responders did not mention any sustained injuries or said whether anyone was hospitalized.
