DENVER, CO – Denver police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run in East Colfax that left a pedestrian seriously injured on Saturday, August 5th.
According to a report by Denver 7, the victim was sleeping in an alley behind the 8600 block of Colfax Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. when they were struck by a vehicle.
The unidentified victim suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
The driver involved fled the scene before first responders arrived. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver mid-sized sedan.
