DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was transported to a hospital in serious condition after they were struck by a vehicle near the Denver Botanic Gardens on Tuesday.
Denver Police said the victim was hit shortly after 8:30 p.m. while walking near the intersection of East 8th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard and first disclosed this incident after 8:30 p.m.

The motorist involved in the collision reportedly remained at the scene, cooperating with law enforcement officials during the investigation.
