DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was killed when they were hit by a vehicle just outside of a middle school in Aurora early Tuesday.
According to KDVR, the incident took place on East Montview Boulevard near the intersection with Paris Street at about 7:45 a.m.
The pedestrian, a woman believed to be in her 20s, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Her identity is not mentioned in the report.
Investigators say the woman was crossing outside of a designated crosswalk when the crash occurred.
The driver, a 20-year-old woman from Denver, remained at the scene. It is unclear if she will face any charges or citations.
