DENVER, CO – A 19-year-old man lost his life when his driver, who was suspected and arrested of DUI, crashed into another vehicle along Cherry Creek Saturday.
Denver Police were summoned to the scene — the West Colfax Avenue and North Speer Boulevard junction — before 1:45 a.m. Upon arrival, police declared the 19-year-old male passenger dead at the scene and apprehended his driver, also 19 years old.

The suspected impaired motorist faces DUI and vehicular homicide charges.
The other driver was unharmed. While police have started an investigation, they have not confirmed whether speed also played a part in this crash.
