THORNTON, CO – A driver of a flatbed trailer managed to escape injuries after a large excavator fell off, leading to a crash on the 13500th block of I-25 North Friday.
Thornton Police announced this collision before 11:15 p.m. and, at the time of the reporting, told drivers to take the exit leading to 136th Avenue or use Washington Street or Huron Street as alternative routes to accommodate the clean-up and investigation process.
N/B I-25 (13500 block) is closed while Thornton PD investigates a single vehicle, non-injury crash. The roadway will be closed for an extended period.
