LOUISVILLE, CO – No one was injured in a car fire that was reported on the westbound lanes of the Denver Boulder Turnpike near McCaslin after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
As expected, major backup was seen on the westbound lanes. Mountain View Fire Rescue and Louisville fire crews worked together to extinguish the flames. Boulder County deputies and Colorado State Patrol also responded to the scene.

Officials indicated that it was a Honda that caught on fire. However, they have not been able to pinpoint whether the fire was caused by mechanical issues or was the result of a collision.
