DENVER, CO – A motorcyclist was fatally struck by an SUV while riding in Aurora last Friday afternoon.
According to a report by the Denver Post, the rider was heading north on South Abilene Street near the intersection with East Alameda Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. when he was hit.
Police say a Honda SUV was making the left turn out of a shopping center when it collided with the rider.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital, where the man succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon.
It is unclear at this time whether the SUV’s driver will face any charges or citations.
