ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO – One person has died late Thursday morning in southwest Aurora after a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle, according to the Aurora Police Department.
The accident happened on a stretch of South Havana Street at East Tennessee Avenue. It was first reported at around 9:15 a.m.
Details are limited, but officials said a man who was riding a motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The SUV’s two occupants, who suffered minor injuries, were transported to an area hospital.
The roadway was expected to remain closed until nearly 12:00 p.m. to accommodate an investigation by the APD’s Traffic Unit.
Officials have not confirmed at this time whether anyone is expected to be charged or cited.
