AURORA, CO – A woman and a man traveling inside a Jeep were injured after their vehicle collided with a Dodge Durango along Cherry Creek State Park Monday.

This collision took place at the South Parker Road and East Temple Drive intersection, Aurora Police revealed.  The man and woman suffered sustained non-life-threatening wounds, while the Dodge driver, a man, was unharmed.

Officials did close the northbound lanes of Parker Road and, at the time of closures, told drivers in the area to take East Temple Drive.

It is not exactly clear if it was the man who drove the Jeep or the woman. In addition, police did not say if any citations or charges would take place.

Additional details will be provided as more information arises.
