AURORA, CO – A driver of a silver Chevrolet pickup truck struck a 28-year-old man crossing East 6th Avenue Tuesday, leading to the pedestrian’s death.
Aurora Police said this collision happened around 6 p.m. near Kenton Street. They revealed the pedestrian did not use a crosswalk when he was hit by the motorist — a 63-year-old man from Aurora. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
While details remain limited, police confirmed that speed and impairment were not deemed contributing factors in this crash.
