AURORA, CO – A driver who was said to have operated a mid-1990s Pontiac Grand AM sedan fatally struck a pedestrian before fleeing the scene Saturday.
Police said this collision happened around 9:30 a.m. at the East Hampden Avenue and South Uravan Street intersection along the Calico neighborhood.

Officers showed a photo of the suspect’s vehicle, indicating damage to the passenger side and a missing side view mirror.
The Aurora Police Department suspects the motorist drove away on the eastbound lanes of Hampden.
