WESTMINSTER, CO – A person was sent to a hospital and later succumbed to fatal injuries after they were struck by a hit-and-run driver on U.S. 36 West Monday.
Westminster Police first reported this hit-and-run collision around 5:42 p.m. They believe the suspect is a man who was last seen in the Promenade area.

Police have not provided a physical description of the suspect, released the name of the victim, or indicated the specifics of what led to this crash.
