WHEAT RIDGE, CO – Arvada Fire Rescue crews were able to extinguish the flames coming from a C.R. England tractor-trailer on the I-70 East shoulder near Robb Street Tuesday.
Wheat Ridge Police, who also responded to the scene, said they shut down some eastbound lanes and left two lanes open to accommodate the flow of traffic. The scene was able to clear, and all lanes reopened at 4:51 p.m.
TRAFFIC ALERT: We have a partial shutdown of EB I-70 east of Robb St. after a truck fire along the highway. Our partners at @ArvadaFire also responded to the scene.
We have two lanes open, but considering the time of day, we suggest you find an alternate route back home. pic.twitter.com/Ywpfbb4tjx
