WHEAT RIDGE, CO – Two roadside workers suffered unspecified injuries when they were struck by a vehicle on I-70 East near Ward Road Tuesday.
This crash took place before 11:30 a.m., according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department. Upon arrival, first responders took the two injured occupants to a hospital, where they are now recovering from serious, non-life-threatening wounds.

Police had to shut down many eastbound lanes so that crews could clear the scene and for the investigation process. All lanes reopened around 12:50 p.m.
