News: Driver hits, sends pedestrian to hospital near Broomfield Community Park

BROOMFIELD, CO – A pedestrian was sent to a hospital for life-threatening wounds after getting hit by a vehicle near Broomfield Community Park Wednesday. 

Broomfield Police said this collision happened in the vicinity of West 120th Avenue and Lamar Street. Officers arrived at the scene after 10:45 p.m. and closed the area temporarily before reopening all lanes after 1 a.m. 

The driver remained at the scene, although it is unclear if they will be cited or charged for their involvement in this collision.
