BROOMFIELD, CO – A pedestrian was sent to a hospital for life-threatening wounds after getting hit by a vehicle near Broomfield Community Park Wednesday.
Broomfield Police said this collision happened in the vicinity of West 120th Avenue and Lamar Street. Officers arrived at the scene after 10:45 p.m. and closed the area temporarily before reopening all lanes after 1 a.m.
Broomfield Police is investigating an Auto/Ped crash near W. 120th St and Lamar. During the investigation, W 120th St is closed eastbound from Lamar St to Chase St. Please use E. 1st Ave to avoid the closure. The driver remained at the scene, although it is unclear if they will be cited or charged for their involvement in this collision.
