SOUTH DENVER, CO – A pedestrian had to go to the hospital for serious wounds after they were struck by a driver of a vehicle southwest of Ruby Hill Park Wednesday.
Denver Police arrived at the scene, the West Evans Avenue and South Bryant Street, before 10 p.m. Upon arrival, officers closed eastbound Evans along Bryant for the scene clearance and investigation process.
HEADS UP:#DPD is investigating a crash involving a motorist and a pedestrian at Evans and Bryant. One person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. EB Evans is closed at Bryant, Alternate routes advised. The driver remained on scene. #Denverpic.twitter.com/vgjyfKiv2M
Officers confirmed the driver remained at the scene but did not specify when the area reopened.
