DENVER, CO – A pedestrian lost their life after they were struck by a driver who then fled the scene at Federal Boulevard and West 4th Avenue near Barnum Park Friday.
Police responded to the scene before 1:30 a.m. First responders took the pedestrian to a hospital, where they later passed away.

Police shut down the southbound lanes of Federal to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.
