AURORA, CO – A woman lost her life after she was struck by the driver of a silver Cadillac sedan while crossing East Montview Boulevard and Dayton Street Tuesday.
According to the City of Aurora, this collision occurred around 8 a.m. east of the Mountview Park Community Garden. The driver — a man from Aurora — remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. At this time, officials have not mentioned any pending charges.
First responders rushed the unidentified woman to a hospital, where she later died.
Officials are investigating the exact circumstances leading up to this deadly wreck. They have not provided other details except for certifying that the driver was, in fact, not impaired and did not speed.
