DENVER, CO – At least one person was seriously hurt Sunday night following a multi-vehicle collision in southwest Denver, reports the Denver Police Department.
The wreck occurred in the area of Sheridan Boulevard and West 6th Avenue. By about 7:09 p.m., officers were on the scene conducting an investigation.

Officials have not indicated the cause of the event, but one person had to be transported to a nearby hospital for unspecified injuries. At around 9:13 p.m., the DPD revealed that one of the parties involved was a person in a wheelchair.
Motorists were told to expect delays passing through the area.
