ADAMS COUNTY, CO – Emergency crews were called to a collision Thursday morning on Interstate 270 near Commerce City, according to Jayson Luber of Denver 7 Traffic.
The incident occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-270 near Vasquez Boulevard, in an area northeast of Denver. It was first reported shortly before 7:00 a.m.
Little information about the event has been released, but at the time of the initial report, a section of the eastbound highway was closed, and a traffic backup had stretched down to York.
The conditions of the involved parties was not immediately made public.
