DENVER, CO – A driver of an SUV collided with a semi-truck, leading the car to become trapped under the semi’s trailer, blocking two center lanes on I-70 Thursday.
The Denver 7 Traffic Team first announced this crash at approximately 5:55 a.m., indicating it occurred on I-70 West along Peoria Street.

Crews who were summoned to the scene were able to clear the collision from those lanes and move it to the shoulder. Despite the clearance, drivers in the area could still expect delays on I-225 North.
First responders who were called to the collision site did not specify the events leading to this wreck or say if anyone was injured.
