DENVER, CO – A cyclist was rushed to the hospital following a hit-and-run in the Brighton area early Monday, according to 9 News.
The victims was riding in the area of East Bridge Street and 27th Avenue shortly before 1:30 a.m. when she was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The victim, later identified as 35-year-old woman, was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition and subsequently airlifted to another hospital for additional treatment.
The driver of the pickup fled the scene before first responders arrived. It is unclear at this time if officers have arrested or identified a suspect.
