DENVER, CO – Denver Police responded to a major injury collision late Wednesday night on East Colfax Avenue near the city’s South Park Hill neighborhood, according to a post on the Denver Police Department’s X account.
The accident happened at the intersection with Birch Street and was first reported by DPD shortly before 11:00 p.m.
Officials have not released a sequence of events, but did confirm that a pedestrian and a motorist were involved. At least one person suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident.
Motorists were advised of delays in the area.
