Deputies and other crews shut down eastbound U.S. 36 and North Foothills Highway, along with the westbound 61st and Ute Highway, to accommodate the scene clearance process and their investigation.
County authorities noted in the X post that they requested a helicopter to the scene but did not clarify if that was a medical helicopter or a police/deputy type of chopper. In addition, they did not report whether the injured person was hospitalized nor specified the events leading to this wreck.
