DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was killed when they were hit by an Adams County Sheriff’s Office cruiser in northwest Denver early Wednesday, KDVR reports.
Investigators say the deputy was driving north on Federal Boulevard, just north of the I-76 interchange at about 3 a.m. when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
The victim, whose identity is unclear at this time, died at the scene despite being rendered medical aid by the deputy.
