WHEAT RIDGE, CO – Three people suffered serious injuries Saturday night, December 21, due to a multi-vehicle crash in Wheat Ridge, according to CBS News.
Wheat Ridge Police Department officials said the incident occurred at West 38th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard at about 9:40 p.m.
The events leading up to the wreck were not immediately clear, but at least two vehicles were involved, and officials indicated that three people had to be taken to a hospital. All patients were said to have sustained significant injuries.
Crews had part of the intersection shut down until about 3:50 a.m. as investigators processed the scene. No charges have been announced at this time.
