DENVER, CO – Denver Police are investigating an injury collision Tuesday evening, December 31, involving multiple vehicles in the city’s northeast corner, according to the department’s X page.
The incident took place near East 40th Avenue and Havana Street, just south of the Interstate 70 ramps in the Central Park area. It was first reported shortly after 6:41 p.m.
Officials have not released a statement about the crash, but three motorists were involved, and one person had to be taken to an area hospital for unknown injuries.
A section of westbound East 40th Avenue was blocked to accommodate the emergency response and investigation.
