DENVER, CO – Officers were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle wreck Monday evening, December 30, in the Park Hill neighborhood of northeast Denver, reports the Denver Police Department.
The incident occurred in the area of North Elm Street and East Thrill Place, near Marvin Freeman Field, shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Authorities said the department was also called to the scene for reports of shots fired, but it was not immediately apparent whether the event was related to the collision.
One person had to be taken to a local hospital for unspecified injuries.
