AURORA, CO – One driver was traveling at a high rate, leading them to collide with several vehicles, sending 11 people to the hospital Sunday.
Aurora Police said this collision happened before 7 p.m. at South Parker Road along East Leigh Avenue. The driver who caused the crash and their passenger, a minor, were hospitalized for serious wounds.

One vehicle was driving down S. Parker Road when it crashed into multiple cars. Speed is believed to be a factor.
Officers did not describe the physical states of the nine other individuals. They closed the northbound lanes of Parker Road temporarily and told drivers they could expect delays for at least one hour.
