BOULDER, CO – A 15-year-old boy was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries after getting struck by a driver who fled the scene Friday.
Boulder Police said this crash happened around 10 p.m. when he was crossing eastbound Canyon Boulevard along 14th Street when he was struck. The suspect, who was said to have driven a dark-colored vehicle (possibly black), did not render aid and continued on their way.
Police started an investigation but have yet to clarify if the teenager used a crosswalk while walking across Canyon or was jaywalking. They also have not provided a description of the suspect or confirmed what vehicle model they were driving.
Police ask the general public to please come forward if they have any more information concerning this hit-and-run collision.
