WHEAT RIDGE, CO – Arvada Fire Rescue crews were able to extinguish the flames coming from a C.R. England tractor-trailer on the I-70 East shoulder near Robb Street Tuesday.

Wheat Ridge Police, who also responded to the scene, said they shut down some eastbound lanes and left two lanes open to accommodate the flow of traffic. The scene was able to clear, and all lanes reopened at 4:51 p.m.

Police have not specified whether the cause was caused by mechanical issues or a collision. In addition, they did not confirm if the truck driver was injured.
