DOWNTOWN DENVER, CO – A driver of a car ran a red light, resulting in them hitting an on-coming light train Wednesday, leading them to suffer minor wounds.
The Denver Post said this crash happened around 1 p.m. at the Stout Street and 15th Street intersection. Upon arrival, first responders took the car driver to a hospital for treatment of minor wounds, while light rail passengers and the operator were unharmed.
The collision cleared around 2:30 p.m., lifting any delays and lane closures.
