DENVER, CO – First responders took a cyclist to a hospital after a driver hit them in the Congress Park district Sunday.
Denver Police were summoned to the 12th Avenue and Josephine Street junction, arriving at the scene before 12:45 p.m. At the time of the report, the cyclist was recovering from serious, non-life-threatening wounds.

Following the crash, police said travelers could expect some delays in the area during the scene clearance and investigation process. However, crews have since reopened the intersection, and delays dissipated soon after.
