BOULDER, CO – A 90-year-old woman who was struck by a vehicle near North Boulder park on Wednesday had succumbed to fatal injuries.
This collision happened before 9:30 a.m. at the Broadway and Alpine Avenue intersection. Boulder Police said the driver of a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica — a 35-year-old woman — had turned left onto eastbound Alpine Avenue and hit the 90-year-old woman.

First responders rushed the 90-year-old woman to a hospital, where she later died. The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is withholding her name pending notification of next of kin.
The 35-year-old woman stayed at the scene with her two passengers — her children. None of them were harmed.
Officials confirmed that the driver was not speeding and was not intoxicated. It is unclear if she will be charged.
