BOULDER, CO – A woman driving an SUV failed to yield to oncoming traffic, leading her to crash into an emergency vehicle at the northbound 30th Street and Iris Avenue junction.
Boulder Police indicated this collision happened before 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. They said the SUV driver collided with an emergency vehicle operated by the Boulder Fire Department as fire crews responded to an emergency call.

None of the fire crews were injured. However, the woman and the passenger with her, a man, were taken to an area hospital for minor wounds.
Authorities charged with failing to yield to emergency vehicles and operating an automobile with an expired license.
