AURORA, CO – Police confirm that a crash in the Village East district turned fatal when a man operating a white sport bike ran a red light and was struck by two vehicles turning left Sunday.
An Aurora Police Department press release indicated this collision happened around 10 p.m. at the South Havana Street and East Iliff Avenue junction. The sport bike rider hit the side of a white Dodge Caravan, turning left onto lliff.
The second vehicle to strike the bike was a black Chevy sedan.
The two motorists appeared to be unharmed and stayed at the crash site, while the bike rider, who was only identified as a 26-year-old man from Aurora, was declared dead at the scene.
