THORNTON, CO – Traffic backup could be seen towards 120th Avenue following a crash at the southbound I-25 and West 88th Avenue junction Wednesday afternoon.
This collision happened along Northstar Park and Thornton Park-n-Ride (West Side), Denver 7 Traffic revealed in a report. Motorists in the area are going anywhere between 11 to 22 mph.
While there have been no reports of lane closures, delays are likely to last for the next hour at the bare minimum. Anyone who wishes to avoid the delays and must continue using the freeway can exit off East 88th Avenue, take Grant Street, and then turn left onto 84th Avenue before reentering the freeway.
Officials have not yet revealed the circumstances leading up to this crash, specified if any injuries were sustained, or indicated the amount and type of vehicles and people involved.
