DENVER, CO – A crash involving an alleged wrong-way driver on I-25 near downtown Denver early Saturday claimed the life of one driver and left three other people seriously hurt.
According to KDVR, a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Morgan Hefley was heading south in the northbound lanes of the interstate near 8th Street when her vehicle slammed into another.
The driver of the northbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle was hospitalized in serious condition.
Hefley was also sent to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. It is unclear if she will face any charges.
