DENVER, CO – At least one person suffered significant injuries Friday afternoon following a collision on Interstate 70 in northwest Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.
The accident unfolded at the intersection with Federal Boulevard (Exit 272) and was first reported at about 2:07 p.m.
At this time, the department has not released a statement indicating the circumstances of the event, but motorists were told to expect delays in the area.
An investigation was in progress.
