DENVER, CO – One person was rushed to an area hospital following a pedestrian collision Thursday evening in southwest Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.
The incident unfolded in the area of South Federal Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue. By 8:17 p.m., officers were on the scene conducting an investigation.
Although the circumstances of the event have not been disclosed to the public, one patient was transported to the hospital. The severity of their condition was not immediately clear, and officials have not confirmed that the patient was the pedestrian.
Motorists were instructed to seek alternate routes around the area, as a span of northbound Federal Boulevard was blocked at the intersection.
